Strength Level of Shaytan

Question: 

Assalamualaykum

Respected mufti saheb

How many percent of his power does shaitaan use to lead man astray in the world 1% or 25%  ?

How many percent does shaitaan use to prevent a man from dying with imaan at the time of death 75% or 99% or 100%?

Please advise

Answer:

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-Salāmu ʿAlaykum Wa-Raḥmatullāhi Wa-Barakātuh

As for the extent of Shayṭān’s effort, it should not be understood in terms of percentages or limitation. Rather, he exerts himself fully, without restraint, employing every possible means to misguide the son of Ādam.

In response, a believer must remain constantly alert, mindful, and cautious, ensuring that all actions are directed towards what pleases Allah at all times. This is necessary because Shayṭān does not cease in his effort; rather, he intensifies his attack at critical moments, especially during youth and at the time of death.

Therefore, the believer should never become negligent or feel secure from his deception.

However, if a lapse does occur, one must immediately turn back to Allah in sincere repentance, for death can come at any moment, and indeed Allah loves those who turn to Him in repentance.
